Himalaya’s Diarex Tablet is an ayurvedic proprietary medicine used for the treatment of diarrhea, amebiasis and irritable bowel syndrome with loose stools.

Ingredients (Composition)

Diarex Tablet and Syrup both have different composition.

Ingredients Each Diarex Tablet Contains:
Extract of
Kutaja – Holarrhena Antidysenterica 245 mg
Guduchi (Giloy) – Tinospora Cordifolia 16 mg
Powders
Bilva (Bael) – Aegle Marmelos 245 mg
Dadima (Pomegranate) – Punica Granatum 82 mg
Shankha Bhasma 61 mg
Nut Grass (Musta or Mustak) – Cyperus Rotundus 51 mg

Diarex Syrup Composition

Ingredients Each 7.5 ml of Diarex Syrup Contains:
Extract of
Kutaja – Holarrhena Antidysenterica 110 mg
Guduchi (Giloy) – Tinospora Cordifolia 7 mg
Bilva (Bael) – Aegle Marmelos 27.5 mg
Dadima (Pomegranate) – Punica Granatum 9.5 mg
Nut grass (Musta or Mustak) – Cyperus Rotundus 6 mg

Indications

  1. Diarrhoea
  2. Amebiasis
  3. Irritable bowel syndrome with loose stools – as an adjuvant therapy

Dosage

Diarex Tablets Dosage

Children 1/2 to 1 Tablet *
Adults 1 to 2 Tablets *

Diarex Syrup Dosage

Children 1/2 to 1 Teaspoon *
Adults 1 to 2 Teaspoons *

* Twice daily with warm water
