Can I take Brahmin Tone with my anti anxiety drug sertraline?
Hey Jane,
Interactions between brahmi tone and sertraline are unknown.
However, it contains ginkgo biloba, which might raise the levels of serotonin in the brain to a dangerous level when taken with sertraline, so it might cause serotonin syndrome.
We suggest not taking brahmi tone with any anti-depressant or anti-anxiety drugs.
Additionally, I can suggest some natural measure for combating anxiety.
1. Meditate just before going to sleep for at least 30 minutes. Initially, you will feel difficulty in sitting and might your mind wandering, but after a few days, you will get good control over mind.
2. Initially, meditate using technique ANAPANASATI YOGA then after three months, try VIPASSANA meditation. Please search about these meditation techniques on Google.
3. Shavasana (corpse pose) in yoga is also beneficial.
4. Pranayama (breathing exercises) are also helpful.
I hope these tips will help you combatting anxiety in better way.
