  1. In your product 777 oil, you have mentioned expiry. Can you enlighten me which ingredient has an expiry? What I understand that Ayurvedic products in oil or extract in dry form, does not expire.

    NATURAL CURE

    1. According to “The drug and cosmetic Rules, 1945”, all oil preparations have a shelf life or expiry period of 2 years. Therefore, all manufacturers are bound to write expiry date on the label of their products. So, a manufacturer of 777 Oil requires declaring the expiration period.

The rules about the expiry of ayurvedic medicines in this act are based on the information available in Sharangdhara Samhita (ayurvedic classical text) about the efficacy period of each group of ayurvedic medicines.

This act only exempts the certain groups of certain ayurvedic medicines as “have No Expiry” are:
      • Ras Rasayan (Herbal Mineral Medicines)
      Asava Arishta
      Kupipakwa Rasayana
      • Parpati
Pishti and Bhasma (some bhasma need to re-process 1 to 2 times after every 5 years)

Secondly, you cannot declare herbal extracts have no expiry. They start deteriorating after a certain period unless they are not preserved in an alcohol base.
